A recap of the past weekend in sports, by Zack Becker

After millions of votes and player ballots, the two All-Star teams are set. They’ll square off in San Diego on Tuesday July 12. If you're not sure what to do with yourself until then, check out our brand-new MLB collection.

Levi Zents of the Victoria Generals and the Florence RedWolves’ Bobby Campbell made some great grabs this week. Why are these guys playing independent ball? These are big-league level catches.

Ronaldo knocks in beautiful header

Cristiano has Portugal one match away from history. They’re onto the Euro 2016 finals thanks to this great goal. Portugal’s only obstacle is host nation France.

Jared Hughes snares comebacker, turns two

Jared, calm down!! They already picked the All-Stars. Better luck next year. But keep this up and you might have a shot.

Looking ahead, looking back: All-Star Edition

With our prints on display at the MLB All-Star FanFest this week, here are some highlights from All-Star Games past.

July 6

1983 - The 50th All-Star Game takes place at Comiskey Park in Chicago. The American League ended a 12-year drought and won big, 13-3.

July 7

1936 - The NL wins its first All Star Game after losing each of the first three.

July 8

1952 - A rain-shortened All-Star Game ends in just five innings in Philadelphia because of rain. The NL won this one, 3-2. Luckily, this year’s game is in San Diego, where it never ever rains.

July 9

1946 - Ted Williams headlines a slew of Red Sox All-Stars at Fenway Park with a 4-4 effort including two homers as the American League topped the NL, 12-0.
